Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S5582 Excellent Buy
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S5582 - PIII-M 800 MHz - 13.3" TFT - with port replicator by krash_control

Advantages: Light-weight, Robust, Fast by P3 standards, slim look, soft touch keyboard
Disadvantages: External Floppy Drive, Poor Speakers, PS2 port on Docking Bay only

Firtsly, let me say that before you turn away from this beauty, you have to look at it close up and not in a picture. When I saw it, I had to have it there and then, it is THAT beautiful. It has a sleek silver finish that is lovely to touch, easy to clean and looks virtually scratch resistant. The keyboard is lovely and is soft-touch, i.e. it takes light tapping of the keys to type. The only disadvantage is that you have to press the 'Fn' or second ...
...keys, which are integrated with the arrow keys. But I quickly got used to this. The keyboard has a windows key in the right place which most modern laptops lack. This is essential for a person who knows the keyboard shortcuts in windows. As for the operating system, I have Windows 2000 running and it's a dream. Boot up takes about 15 seconds and shutdown is just 2 seconds which is great because as I work on the train so I can wait until I am just ... Read review

Review of Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4110P - PIII-M 800 MHz - 10.4" TFT by maxmidnight

Advantages: Lightweight, compact and flexible. Great user interface and robust. Great design feature to aid handling.
Disadvantages: Lacks the power of other tablets, has trouble launching multi application envronments

...TC1100, the Motion M1200, the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120, and the Toshiba Portégé 3500. What follows is a brief discussion of the Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4110 which I hope will give users some guidance and prove informative. The Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120 was the first such device we trialed here at the Trust and it was certainly a fantastic baptism for both ourselves and the hardware. Vigorously tested and scrutinised by disgruntled employee's, ...
...in technological architecture and benefited users in almost every aspect of their working lives. It is the lightest of the Tablet PCs and gets the best battery life (though the Motion dropped off only a few minutes earlier when we performed a standard use battery test). The suede on the back is an excellent feature, making the slate more comfortable, slip resistant and cooler to the touch. Its IR keyboard has no pointing device, unlike all the others ... Good Tablet, Good performance, Very durable
Review of Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic 3400 - PIII 400 MHz - 10.4" TFT by abacus1983

Advantages: Good performance, Reliable and Rugged
Disadvantages: Weight, Colour and Battery life

My review of the Fujitsu Stylistic 3400. My opinions are very much varied for this machine; I will tell you what I find to be the good, bad and the ugly. Good: The fact that it is a affordable Tablet PC is probably the best part, With that it boasts a Pentium 3 (400 MHz) Processor, which is not to bad, it performs good enough and is defiantly capable of handling most tasks and the Internet, sometimes both at the same time depending on what your ...
...196mb of RAM. It has 1 x USB port, TV-OUT, Infra-red and built in speakers. Bad: It lacks a CD/DVD drive; the stylus pen is awful and looks like something that has been pulled out of a cracker. The battery doesn’t tend to hold its charge for that much of a longer period but it does have the advantage of the power supply. The weight is probably the biggest put of, it is quite a weighty machine and can tend to ache your legs after a few hours, ... Read review

S6120 King of Notebooks?
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6120 - Pentium M 1.6 GHz - 13.3" TFT by LeroyBrown

Advantages: Lightweight, Very Fast, Long Battery Life
Disadvantages: Wi-Fi is not too good

The S6120 is my current notebook that I use at work. I was amazed when I received it last August. On first look you will be impressed by its sharp design, when you pick it up you will be amazed at how light it is compared to other laptops, that with its rigid built make it a prime laptop. I've dropped it twice and had no problems, not even a scratch on it. This is one fast machine as well, with Windows XP and a 1.6 Pentium M and 512mb ram you are ...
...chipset you are looking at long, long battery life (double that of normal laptops) and the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in. The combination DVD and CDRW is a godsend, and works a treat with the bundled software, no problems what so ever with that. My came complete with docking bay and external floppy drive (who uses a floppy anyway nowadays) and everything I could possibly think of using, put it this way I never had a situation where I didn’t have ...
