Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5535 - Celeron M 530 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by

Advantages: good sized screen. small and compact.
Disadvantages: small memory, slow
i brought this product as a cheap laptop to do my work on for college. i found that it worked quite slow considoring the specs given. i also found that the battery dies quite quickly without the adaptor so unless you are anywhere with a power supply you might as well not bother taking it with you. however i was impressed with the look and the feel of it. and for what i want to use it for it seems to be satisfactory.
i would however not recommend ...

Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5505
Review of Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO Mobile V5505 by
m1keyb
Advantages: Quick laptop and not bulky for a 15.4" laptop 2Ghz
Disadvantages: battery life rated at 3 hours. Graphics not for high end use
An excellent laptop, a good balance between memory and CPU speed for most users. Graphics adequate for most things, though not for high end games. 3.4 Vista Index due to graphics, however, all over ratings are around 4.5 -5.5.
Highly recommended for general and business use. I use mine for web development and have had no problems at all. I often have many CPU intensive applications open at once and the performance has never waivered. I've just switched ... ...the keyboard, however, its a standard laptop one so no problems there. The USB ports are on the side which I find useful. Display screen is excellent and doesn't suffer from glare.
At the time of writing this was the best laptop for the money for general use on the market. ...

Average & Expensive
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S7110 Value - Core Duo T2500 2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
philglen
Advantages: Good Performance
Disadvantages: Not easy to use as a programmer
Having bought this product second hand I feel I can objectively give my opinion on how well this product performs, as I was not biased at the point of sale by its looks, or features. As a web developer I use computers almost constantly so ease of use is of utmost importance, and unfortunately for me I do not find this a user friendly piece of equipment.
Let me start with the positives. It is a nice size and although quite heavy it is of good build ... ...can be viewed from an angle which is ideal for presenting to a client. Performance wise it is pretty quick and can handle several heavy weight applications open at once, i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator & Dreamweaver.
However I expected a higher resolution than 1024 x 768 for such a high priced business machine. (Any other web developers out there will know that it simply is not big enough). Also because it is quite small in size the keyboard layout ...

a truely portable laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: price tag
...to spend it on.
This Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 is a quite new type of laptop from the fujitsu siemens brand. These new laptops are called lifebook, and are especially designed for portability and super quick running speeds. The design of this laptop is fantastic, its combination of three main colours makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals.
A business mans laptop that looks cool ... ...how to get this balance, fujitsu however have, and it really shows.
The plastic section around the screen is black, and is also strong and sturdy, the body of the laptop is silver with a nice grey keypad that stands out from the laptop and the bottom of the laptop and sides of the laptop are also black, it really is a stunning looking laptop.
This one in particular is quite quick saying it only has 1gb or ram, it’s a shame it doesn’t ...

Advantages: Good Notebook but needs 2G memory
Disadvantages: Terribel customer service see review
Before you buy the Fujitsu likebook 7230 please read my experience. I bought the 7230 lifebook from Fujitsu direct a few weeks ago and had it configured for 1G of memory. I based this on their own user guide which says the machine has 1G of onboard memory under the keyboard which is not user accessible, and ano |
