Acer C720 Chromebook - My Next "2nd Computer"

Advantages: Light, very fast boot-up, less to go wrong (no HD). Simple set-up, simple OS. 8.5 hours battery.
Disadvantages: Can't do much off-line. Not Android, and some holes in Chrome OS's repertoire, e.g. no Skype.

I've had a 'mobile computing solution' for a few years now, downsizing from lap-top to net-book to tablet as I go. However, I'm no fan of the virtual keyboard on a tablet and have kept hold of a net-book too for those occasions when only a 'proper big boy ...

Advantages: It has an 11.6 anti-glare screen and superior HD image quality for video chatting.
