Advantages: Small, lightweight and packed with great gizmo's
Disadvantages: may be over budget

Sony Vaio's are well known for being the business types laptop, being expensive and packed with business type programmes and softwares, and especially hardware allowing people to comunicate and connect with the easiest of use. For example connecting to the internet or connecting a USB couldn't be easier on a laptop than it is on a Viao. ...Windows Vista Home Premium. No Sony crap other than the utilities (without them the buttons won't work) and I've now got much more free memory. Sony also support Windows XP Professional and I considered changing to that; but they mention that some of the laptop's features won't work fully - including hard drive protection. Advantages: Very light, very fast, very good spec for the money
Disadvantages: Quite costly, heavy power adapter

This is my fourth consecutive Vaio, and it's fantastic value. There are cheaper products out there, but there aren't any that are as good value in my opinion - it is well made, works brilliantly well, is very well spec'd indeed and is put together with a lot of thought.
