Toshiba Satellite P200-1EE
Review of Toshiba Satellite P200-155 - Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73 GHz - 17.1" TFT by
bindie
Advantages: HDMI Port, Quite, Cheap for 17" Laptop
Disadvantages: 2GB RAM, and HD-DVD Drive
...HD-DVD drive built in because Toshiba was a company responsible for creating these disks, but they did not take off and a Blu-Ray drive would have been a better option. But it still works in all the normal ways that a DVD-ROM driver would and plays all DVDs and CDs. There is a dual core processor located inside which helps to run the Vista operating system, but at times it is very slow. This is generally the case when there are multiple windows open. ... ...and quickly e.g. opening and using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. The overall design of the laptop I would say is very good. With the addition of Harman/Lardon speakers it means that it has excellent sound quality when playing music, videos, etc. It is also helped with neatly placed media controls at the top of the laptop. It is a very good laptop for the price, but the only thing that is letting it down is the amount of RAM, but this is upgradable, ...

100GB 7200RPM disc

New thinkpad is traditionally whole black. It is very well built as usual. Nothing screapes and the keyboard is nice acurrate.Titan-Magnesium
hardeness was improved by hardening back part of chassis. The only thing where is ... ...for reproductors and microphone. They were placed in front of laptop what is not so handsome.
After few hours of initial testing i revealed a small bug - it is impossible to change the backlight intensity for the display.
I tried to run a Linux system so i have to write some hints:

ASTONISHING PERFORMANCE VS BATTERY LIFE!!!
Review of Sony VAIO AR71ZU - Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT by
andrewjwatt
Advantages: Fast Performance, Good looks, Great Display, A laptop that can be shown off!
Disadvantages: Heavy, Mediocre Battery Life, High Price Tag
This system is excellent for advanced computer users, who require high performance. I was amazed with the build quality of this machine.
The one thing I found striking was the LCD display which is very crisp and ultra-bright. Perhaps one of the best I have seen. This however contributes to poor battery life. Under heavy tasks this system is lucky if it attains 1 hr of battery life which is shocking for users who take the system away from AC power ... ...The system is quite heavy and is not very portable making this a desktop replacement system and I would not recommend it for users who require portability.
The keyboard is excellent and can be used for prolonged periods comfortably.
The most disapointing feature of this laptop is its stupid doors at the side of the system to gain access to its ports this is a pain!
Overall this is a system that is far superior to other systems in terms of build ...

an amazing laptop!
Review of Sony VAIO AR51SU - Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4 GHz - 17" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: so much features
Disadvantages: the price
This Sony vaio AR51SU is yet another laptop from the Sony vaio range, and also another fantastic laptop from this range. It takes the newest of technology, and the brand new designs from Sony, and puts it all into one laptop which functions just as good as it looks.
This laptop is pretty much customised for all your media uses. This is one of the reasons it comes with windows vista ultimate installed on it. This means you get a lot more software ... ...roxio easy media creator 9, Sony click to DVD, windvd and Sony sonic stage mastering studio 2.4. This laptop also comes with a couple of Photoshop programs too, these are great for editing all your photos on and usually cost over £100 to buy, so as you can see all of these programs added up defiantly come to more than the actual laptop price in itself.
This laptop is also fantastic for playing games on, its NVIDIA geforce 8600M GT graphics processor ...
