Excellent value netbook Advantages: Small and lightweight with good screen and keyboard size Disadvantages: 3-cell battery only lasts 2 hours so buy one with a 6-cell battery I bought the MSI Wind U100 in October 2008 whilst on holiday in the US for just $380 and it is one of the best purchases I have made in the last year. I have used it every day since then and have had no problems at all with it. It is extremely portable due to its small size and low weight and does everything I need it to. My primary use for it is surfing the internet and typing up reports. I also make use of the built in card reader to transfer pictures ... ...at a shop alongside the MSI Wind, I found the MSI netbook to be much better due to the larger screen and keyboard. In my opinion it also looks better and seems to be more durable. The only bad thing I can think of about my netbook is that it has a 3-cell battery that only lasts 2 hours. It is definitely worth paying more to get one with a 6-cell battery and this is the only upgrade I might make in the future. Conversion complete Advantages: great price, great spec and very stylish Disadvantages: bag doesn't fit power cable as well, webcams relatively poor ...the bullet and bought the MSI wind U90. I've never been keen on netbooks since their release mainstream release, you'd be paying over £200 for slow machines with rather minuscule 8gb flash drives. However i was pleasantly surprised that the prices have dropped and the specs improved massively. The model I picked up was £230 at argos, and impressed me greatly in terms of it's specs, which are as follows: Atom processor (1.6ghz dual core), 1GB of ram ... ...whole. Great size, great appearance, great specs, and for the price, i'm astonished at what I could get! I really recommend the MSI wind U90 to anyone looking to buy a portable computer. Good laptop Advantages: hard drive Disadvantages: heat Well i had been looking for a good laptop for a while now. When i found this it was good...
