OQO the best there ever was :)
Review of OQO Model 02 - C7-M 775 1.5 GHz - 5" TFT by Brucy666

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Expensive

...Then came the OQO Model 01+. It was the ideal size, ran XP and seemed loaded enough to do the job. I bought it from Ebay and marveled at the engineering of the tiny device. My joy was short-lived, however. The screen was difficult to see, the battery life was dismal, the keyboard was unusable, the screen was mushy to the touch and not terribly accurate with the digital pen. I sold it on Ebay and the buyer apparently still enjoys its use today. Then ...
...up Engadget.com and saw that OQO had unveiled a new model at CES. There were video clips of this new wonder, and it took me days to mop the drool off my keyboard. They were available for preorder right away, and I ordered one, despite the promised 8-12 week wait time to receive it. I ordered it, and waited. I called OQO to ask them when I would be billed for the unit, and they told me right away. I had gone with the Bill Me Later option, so I could ... Read review

cool but dear
Review of OQO Model e2 - C7-M 1.6 GHz - 5" TFT by techno_man_37

Advantages: easy to use, portable
Disadvantages: price

OQO Model e2 This is a great gadget and im sure if I did own one I would take it almost everywhere I go and try to use it as much as possible, mainly as I would want to get the most out of it due to its high price tag. First looks of this thing are that it looks like a portable media player. When the keyboards folded in nearly all of the portable device is taken up by its 5 inch screen with only about a cm at either side of plastic. The keyboard ...
...It is nearly impossible to type with normal fingers like on a full sized keyboard. However its so easy to type with your thumbs and straight away for the first time I used this device I could type just as fast with my thumbs only as I can with all my fingers on a normal keyboard which was something the really surprised me. It is apparently the smallest vista based pc tablet out there at the moment and I wouldn’t disagree with that statement ... Read review

HP Laptop - Good Notebook for small businesses
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6715s - Turion 64 X2 TL-58 1.9 GHz - 15.4" TFT by dickmaister

Advantages: quick, value for money
Disadvantages: not the best looking, no special add ons (no built in webcam etc.)

I was given this laptop a few days ago...with Windows vista. I have had experience with vista so it was not that hard to get used to. However this was vista business so it did not come with the windows games which you are used to. With a dual core 1.9Ghz processor, this machine is quick...ideal for all your business needs. For personal use it is also great for games such as Football Manager 2008 and so good it can cope with games such as the Sims. ...
...as Inkball is such a great game. It can play DVDs with built in Intervid dvd watching Kingdom of Heaven on it just today. I recommend this for small businesses and for those who do not mind losing out to minesweeper solitaire hearts and the likes. Great Battery time...not the best looking but good value for money ... ...After I had used the HP Tablet TC4400 model at work I knew it had to be a tablet PC. For those of you that are not aware of the term 'tablet PC'. It refers to a laptop where you can turn the screen and place it flat on the keyboard with the screen face-up. This turns it into a type of notebook that you can use to write on by using the specially supplied stylus pen. Users of a PDA will be familiar with a stylus. You can use it in this mode to surf ... A Serious waste of energy.
Review of Gateway M6824 by demonbarak

Advantages: Well specced
Disadvantages: wrong OS for machine, poor layout

Ok, So, I needed a cheap laptop to do while my computer was being reworked. And what a mistake this one turned out to be! Its slow, unreliable, difficult to type on.... but let me explain. I paid over three hundred pounds for this machine. And in all honesty, thirty would have been overpaying. Features wise its not too bad - wireless, decent quality screen, good keyboard action. Unfortunately, this is more than offset by the little niggles. Vista ...
...cope absolutely fine with XP, but Vista hogs so much of its meagre gig of memory that nothing runs fullspeed. Its not compatable with so many of the programs and games I know and love... the list of niggles with vista is endless. The layout - Oh dear god, but whoever designed this machine clearly did not use their brain! You physically cannot type without knocking the mousepad, which flips you out of the program you're typing into and causes havoc. ... Read review
