Having got rid of my desktop PC due to space restrictions in our 1 bed flat, I have been looking for a 17" laptop within a tight budget. ...It is the second Samsung I've had and I love the layout of the keyboard etc - so much better than Dell, which are a bit functional (though good value for money). It's quite small which makes it light and easy to port about, and the screen is big enough, though obviously if you want a bigger screen there are loads out there larger. ...is a great product from Samsung and microsoft. I have had mine for 3 months now and love how easy it is to use. The Q1 features a touch screen and seems to recognise all of my very scruffy hand writing. I don't use the dial keys that included and would like the input panel to be transparent but these aren't big problems. The Q1 only has a 900mhz cpu, 40gb hdd and 512mb screen and this may seem bad for the price but the other perks totally make up for this mistake. The Q1 also features bluetooth and a mmc card slot. Samsung Q45 More and more people are wanting ultra portable laptops these days, and of course they do, after all that's what laptops were made for, if laptops were made you sitting in the same place at home or work all the time then you could simply just get a desktop computer. However the only problem with making smaller laptops is that it usually limit's the amount of ram and hard drive, and even the processor you get with it, and all this limitation ...
...a faster, but bigger laptop. Which doesn't seem fair at all, however I do suppose it takes a lot of work cramming a huge normal sized laptop into a tiny thing like this.
