I bought a netbook from Laptops Direct in September 2010 and never received it. The company were completely uninterested in helping at all. Furthermore, on investigation here in Malta, it would appear that this company has a track record here. Their terms and conditions state that they are not responsible once the product leaves the UK. This should start the alarm bells ringing. Unfortunately, as I have never had a problem with internet shopping in the past, I assumed there would be no problem, especially bearing in mind their high delivery price. The company would not file a lost item report with Parcel Force, and as I paid by debit card, there is no recompense here. My best advice to anyone planning to buy from them is DON'T.
