The 2002 ZX6R A1P model with the 636 engine is amazing with excellent power delivery. Servicing costs are very reasonable. I use this on the track and it is fantastic track day tool as well. Some questionable finish to the paintwork on the swingarm though. Many modifications are available from your basic end can upgrade to full system with Dyno jet and K&N filters to increase power. The low screen height is easily solved with the purchase of an after market double bubble screen. An after market undertray tidies up the tail section nicely. Rear suspension can be very harsh over the bumps but can be tweaked for a softer ride or upgraded with a new unit. Headlights are amazing as standard and light up the road ahead beautifully. ...

Advantages: superb looks, excellent engine, comfotable, handles great top allrounder Disadvantages: none
I've owned my ZX6R now for 3 years, and i never get tired of riding it, it's a 1997 f3 model. From the very first moment I rode it i felt at home. Advantages: SUPER GOOD LOOKS. Disadvantages: BIT THIRSTY.
for the fronts (bridgestone bt01ss). also the front and rear suspension are fully adjustable to suit any riding style. another good point about this bike is the colour and looks, being lime green really stands out from the basic colours of the others. and the sharp pointed front and the mean looks set this bike apart from the competition.
bad points.......... very hard suspension, while the cbr600rr bounces over manholes and catseyes whilst riding the zx6-r your just waiting to throw you off but if you trust the bike after a while you get used to it or you visit a suspension set up specialist to sort it out for you. also the tyres can get pretty shreaded if you abuse them to much and will need changing every 6 months. also how long do us poor kawasaki lovers have to put up with those analoge clocks and get some nice up to date digital clocks. also ...
