...and without the interesting logo's, ---Outcome--- There is less vibration down the sticks I believe as the core absorbs it, unlike wooden drumsticks where the vibration resonates through the stick, again when you hit a cymabl with food, it isn't very durable it will start to chip and wear down, however the sleeves on Aheads can be replaced but I have never known anyone break the sticks. Another issue is RSI (repetitive strain injury) I know that I have had this with the darn wooden sticks that aren't too good, the only wooden sticks I recommened is Vic Firth as they are pitch paired and last a long time, unlike regal tip which break too easily for me. I have not had RSI in my wrists with using Ahead sticks, although I find them heavier than normal sticks they help me with my speed, and build the strength in my wrists, they sit nicely in your hand...
