I ordered a Hotpoint TCD970 condenser tumble dryer from Laskys for a very good price and was given a delivery date of Wednesday 14th October (ordered this around a week before) which was not a problem as it was free delivery and i had time to make arrangements to be home to take delivery. It was Tuesday 13th October at 16.11pm that i received an email to say that there had been a delay with delivery on my dryer and will now be here on the 23rd October.
1- I had to lose a days wages as i had been given absolutely no notice whatsoever that i was not going to get the appliance the following day and Laskys refused to compensate me for this as it was their fault i was not getting the dryer the following day,and i was expected to arrange yet ANOTHER day off the following week. (what was stopping them ONCE AGAIN delaying my appliance?????)
2 - When i called to request a refund i was then told that the item was out of stock,IT TOOK THEM UNTIL CLOSING TIME THE DAY BEFORE DELIVERY WAS DUE TO REALISE THIS????????????
In my opinion APPALLING customer service and i immediately ordered the same appliance from another website for £20 MORE so i was guarenteed to receive the appliance within 2 days. I dont think there is ANY excuse for me not being informed with appropriate notice that i would not receive the appliance that i could re-arrange my days work,i was given hours to try to arrange this,IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
Good prices on the website i wont argue that case,but its a lottery draw as to when you will receive them!!!
