I ordered a new washing machine and cooker from laskys. I paid extra for a Sunday delivery. I also paid extra for removing the old items. My goods arrived but I was told by the two delivery men that another van would collect my old appliances later. They even told me that they had contacted their customer services department to make sure my goods would be collected the same day. I now couldn't even get in my kitchen as I had two appliance which I'd already had disconnected and two new appliances stood in there. Five hours later I phoned the customer services department as I was now getting desperate for a drink and my engineer was waiting to connect my new appliances, unfortunately you couldn't get in my kitchen to complete either task. I was then told by them that the first delivery team were meant to have taken the items away. They also said they couldn't come back to collect the goods for 4 days. After begging and complaining for a while the customer services man eventually agreed to contact the drivers - and then cut the phone line!! I phoned back and started again with another customer services man called Ian. When I explained that I couldn't even get in my kitchen for a drink of water till they removed the old goods they said there was nothing they could do. I then informed them that I would be contacting my credit card company to reclaim the payment I made and they could collect their goods, to which Ian replied "well we've already taken the payment so there's nothing you can do". So, in my opinion, Laskys will charge you for services they have no intent of completing, their drivers will look you straight in the eye and lie to you and once they have got your money they could not care what happens. Now I'll be ordering with a reputable company even if it does cost a bit more because buying new products should not be this stressful or upsetting.
