Advantages Easy to navigate, variety of services, some good deals
Disadvantages Not always the cheapest, breaks listed are not always available at the price quoted, site can be frustratingly slow

Seeing as lastminute.com have recently announced they are making profits for the first time since their shares were floated on the stock market a couple of years ago, it seems like a good time to write a review. I’ve been visiting the site for about three years now. When I first started using it, it was one of the only sites offering cut-price last minute holiday deals. Now they not only offer holidays, but flights, hotel rooms, restaurant bookings, gifts and all manner of other things. It’s a good site to explore. Advantages Last minute bookings, bargains at auction section, many other features
Disadvantages Prices in some cases

Many of us would think of lastminute.com as being a provider of only cheap and instant holidays and other travel related services. This is where we are mistaken. lastminute.com provides much more than just Travel related services. I first became aware of this site whilst playing some of the games on Tombola. Lastminute.com is the sponsor of one of the games called “Zap”. I was really very impressed with the site and would like to elaborate more on the services that they offer. Advantages offers inspirational last minute ideas on range of servces
Disadvantages not tailor made, more suited to disposable incomes..? not cheapest, major technical problems with Newsletter, lack of customer services

Last Minute.com as many of you may know is a website that allows you to book a variety of late offers from a range of hotels, flights, holidays, entertainment etc.. that may have otherwise have gone unbooked… but just how good are they? Advantages Wide range of options; plenty of information on products
Disadvantages site can be slow

I first assumed that lastminute was primarily a flight booking site and did not use it. However, when I went looking for a good hotel in London I could afford I ended up - somehow - at the site and have used it regularly since. How good their deals are in other areas I do not know, but for hotels in London they are excellent. Go to the home page and click on the 'hotels' homepage. Then you can either do a search by entering London (or wherever) and your arrival date. Disadvantages Cannot change your mind!

Holidays! Don’t we love them, a time for rest and recreation, something to look forward to, and more importantly if you work – a time to be away from all the stress of daily life. We get the usual holiday brochure (I hate to think how many trees are used on brochures!) and we browse through them picking out places or hotels that appeal. Then my husband draws up a list of suitable choices and we check flights from Scotland for availability and time etc. Remembering to add on the awful flight supplements, to the total cost. I must not get on my hobby horse about the supplements at this point ... more
