Unless you've been hibernating for the last couple of years, u'll be aware of all the hype surrounding lastminute.com and probably for all the wrong reasons.
Despite all the hype last minute is an incredibly useful resource for anyone planning a holiday in the next few weeks or days, and does contain some great bargains.
Last minute brings together tens of thousands of late deals on flights, accomodation and holidays using a powerful and easy to navigate interface. You can simply browse for something that takes your eye or narrow down your search by date, cost, destination or holiday type.
Most deals at Last Minute can be booked online (thought some agents require a phone call), and last Minute's customer service is excellent so i've heard.
Added value sections such as destination guides and travel tips are a real bonus and you can sign up for E-mail newsletters informing you of the latest deals which can be quite handy.
Last minute has also added extra deals over the years such as deals on sporting events, theme parks, concert and theatre tickets and restaurants. I've logged on, on a Friday night and ended up spending the weekend in Amsterdam at a very reasonable price!
The last minute site also offers a game where you can win up to £10,000, its called zap and is in conjunction with Tombola. Its probably best to have a look at www.tombola.co.uk to find out more about this game.
Overall I would say that despite all the hype about Last Minute it is a very well laid out site which offers great service and some great deals.
