I found this product in my local supermarket on an end aisle with hand washing powders, not sure why its sold in this section because its used with your normal detergent in your washing machine. ...for getting my babies bibs and tshirts clean because it actually removes chocolate and spaghetti which i have not been able to remove wihout the use of this laundry bleach. It also works well for coloured items because it does not fade the colours. My 4 children have sensitive skin and this product is very kind to their skin and does not cause any problems or irratations, so its very kind. Great product

Advantages: Ecological, good washing power, good price

I LOVE the whole Ecover range, I think it is fantastic. I have been using the washing powder for a couple of years now, both for ecological and health reasons (lots of other powderw used to hive me itchy, uncomfortable skin). This powder washes brilliantly, is, in my opinion, reasonably priced for a quality, ecological product and lasts me quite a long time. I particularly like its total absence of smell, I really hate artificially perfumed syntetic ...

Lovely to use for hand washing

Advantages: Gentle on delicates

Ecover washing liquid is great for hand or machine* washing delicates and woolies. It has a lovely natural smell with no harsh chemicals and is completely biodegradable. Most councils also recycle this sort of plastic container - but better still look for health food shops that refill bottles, our local one does. *With reference to an earlier reviewer who said it gunged up the washing machine, a repair man I had long ago said don't use washing liquids ...

I find the price compares well will other specialist liquids for delicates. It doesn't foam too much so is easy to rinse out afterwards. Since I started using Ecover Fabrice Softener I would not go back to the other popular brands. Although Ecover is not as scented as some of these it has a nice gentle smell. Fairy clean clothes
