I have had a Laura Star Magic S5 for 3 year. In that time, Laura star has had to replace it 2 times (luckily, it was under warranty). It has broken again and the warranty is only good from when you purchase the 1st one and is not based on the replacement iron. It has broken again (in less than 2 years) so realistically should be under warranty, but it's not. Repair cost are £250, so I have told LauraStar they can keep it - I'm done with their machines. I strongly recomend anyone thinking about this Iron to think again. They are great when they work, but I've had 3 and they have all broken down. When you pay this much for an iron, it should last for many years!
