Millions Of Italians Can't Be Wrong
Review of Lavazza by the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: Rich, smooth, Aribica coffee.
Disadvantages: Not a thing!

...a decent brew. It’s called Lavazza Caffe Espresso, and in fact, I’m sitting drinking a good, strong mug of it right now as I type out this opinion, to give myself a much-needed caffeine boost, and to remind me (as if I needed reminding!) just how delicious this Italian coffee actually is. ~ ~ The company that produce Lavazza (Luiigi Lavazza from Torino in Italy) have been doing so since 1895, so they’ve had a fair few years of ...
...with that statement, and as Lavazza is the leading Italian coffee brand, it would appear that millions of dedicated coffee drinkers in Italy would be of the same opinion. Let’s face it; you don’t get to be the market leader by producing an inferior product! I first got converted to this blend way back in 1987, when I went out to Rome in Italy to get married, and have been drinking it ever since. What’s nice is that I can also be ... Read review

Lavish lavazza
Review of Lavazza by Morgenhund

Advantages: Too expensive for pikeys meaning that it is never sold out
Disadvantages: Metallic flavour if left in the fridge for too long...

...people to death with here… Lavazza coffee, which is my tipple when working in the National Bank, was my chosen victim. I had until recently been a frequent quaffer of Illy coffee although from working in the bank I’ve shown how fickle I am about coffee! Whilst Lavazza make a range of products, I tend to stick to their Espresso coffee, which I have taken to for a change from Illy. The coffee is made of 100% Arabica beans, and comes in a black container. ...
...still have one over the Lavazza containers, since Lavazza uses a metal jar with a plastic lid on its Espresso, whereas Illy has a screw top metal lid with plastic inside. I tend to find that this keeps the coffee fresher than Lavazza. Alternatively you can buy Lavazza in vacuum packed packs – either 250g or 500g sizes, although you do require some storage receptacle for the coffee once it is opened… The only problem I find with Lavazza (or Illy ... Best Legal Drug Ever
Review of Lavazza by dhillcrest

Advantages: Best flavour to price ratio
Disadvantages: Can be messy - but who gives a ....

...even that discerning. Lavazza Qualita Rosa is my first choice coffee. Well, Illy is actually I suppose but it costs twice as much even if it does come in a nice tin. I have been using it for over 4 years, though I occasionally use other brands just to confirm my suspicion that Lavazza is the best. Lavazza is an Italian job and is drunk widely in the coffee shops throughout the country. It has a long history which you can see at the website (http://www.lavazza.com/). ...
...is 'middle-range' in terms of Lavazza quality, containing a 30:70 ratio of Robusta to Arabica coffee. Sounds cool, whatever it means. Packaging -------------- Packaging is very important to coffee as it's a bugger to carry around loose. Lavazza have put freshness at the heart of their product and it comes foil wrapped with all the air sucked out of it. When you pierce the pack it sort of pops as the vacuum inflates with air. It's kinda cool. Having ... Read review

Worth waking up for
Review of Lavazza by Cargill

Advantages: Great inexpensive fix for Coffee-Heads
Disadvantages: Not everyone's cup of tea!

...no frills or spills! Lavazza has been my choice now for about six years. It is suitable for any type of coffee maker, however I opt for a cafetiere (plunger style) pot. Lavazza do a few different varieties. The one I am specifically referring to is the "Quality Rossa", the one in a silver and red pack. The vacuum packaging is so tight, that the pack feels like a brick. Once open, the aroma gets all around the kitchen; Awesome! The coffee itself ...
...The best thing about Lavazza is the price. A 250g pack costs £1.98 in Tesco, which I think is great value for two reasons. Firstly, Lavazza is a global, premium brand, a well-respected producer, and secondly; it comes in pack sizes 10% bigger than the others, including the store own-brand. Virtually every other pack of coffee you see is a 227g, and many of these are over £2, with Tesco own brand being around £1.80 depending on the variety. So at ... Read review

Wakey Wakey
Review of Lavazza by sweetleaf11

Advantages: Strong, non-acidic
Disadvantages: Nada

...(YEAH!!) found my favorite. Lavazza Qualita Rosa, ground coffee. BACKGROUND Lavazza coffee comes from Italy. Luigi Lavazza first invented the concept of the blend in the early 1900's. The concept was the complex art of mixing coffee of different origins to obtain a harmonious and tasty product in the cup. Does sound a bit difficult! PACKAGE Lavazza Qualita Rossa comes in either a single or double pack. The packaging is simple: silver & red with ...
...A really good brew. DIRECTIONS For each cup add 2 spoonfuls of coffee to the coffee machine. If you like it strong like me, add 3 spoonfuls! Lavazza also make espresso coffee, so if you're not into filter coffee, you could give that a go. ... Read review
