Laverda Sport 650

The Laverda 650 Sport is a fantastic bike, I loved it. Mine was a 1995 model with kevlar fairing and all singing and dancing extras such at brembo brakes, white power suspension etc etc.

I would just like to warn all those thinking of buying one 2nd hand or new (if you can find one). Check with 3x for engine upgrades. My bike was one of the original bikes and had somehow missed all the upgrades, the result being the big end blew up. One dead engine that I couldnt afford to replace. New parts are expensive, 2nd hand ones not much better.

If you want one, check out the upgrades, if it hasnt had them, dont touch unless you have deep pockets. Also give it a lot of oil, it drinks it like an alcholic drinks spirit.
