I first purchased this book from Amazon in October 2006 to aid my studies in my degree course of Business Management. This book was the latest in the series to be produced therefore it had the most up-to-date examples of cases to reference from etc.
Content ********* The text book has 433 pages of content split into 26 sections. The book covers information for beginners starting from explaining the basic legal system, continuing to cover different types of law and what type of laws apply specifically to businesses. As I have never specifically studied law I was glad to find a lot of the vocabulary to be clearly explained, with relevant examples to aid your understanding.
I also find that just reading a making notes can become boring and I actually take longer to learn if I am doing this continuously. Therefore the text book had a section at the end of each chapter to help, which contained a few brief questions based on the main details of the chapter, and a possible assignment if you wanted to get more familiar with the content.
Price ****** As I mentioned before I purcased my text book from Amazon for around £26.99 new, however you may only want to use it for a year whilst you are studying this area so I recommend purchase a second hand copy.
Overall I would describe this text book as simple to understand, with many many examples and an excellent resource to studies in this area. It is aimed at those with know real understanding to Business Law to those who just need reminding of key areas within it.
