I recently purchased one of these mowers for my Husband as our new house has a 100ft lawn. He is delighted with the cut he gets from this mower. The mower is easy to assemble and takes less than 5 minutes to clip together. Once up and running the motor sounds like a futuristic aeroplane - it sounds so good!! Mowing The Lawn Just Became Enjoyable With The Bosch Rotak 34

Advantages: Easy to use. Cuts brilliantly.
Disadvantages: Like most electric mowers - the cable, but there's not really a way around that!

...have a crack at the Bosch Rotak 34 - a bold decision, especially after the comfort and relative ease of the Flymo's series for my entire home-owning life and I wasn't a big fan of my dads or anyone else’s seemingly big and clunky 'mowers on wheels'. Review of Bosch Rotak 34 Electric Rotary Lawn

Flymo Turbo 330. I bought this and I KNEW what I was buying!

Advantages: Compact, light, easy to store, grass box, quiet.
Disadvantages: None I have found

First of all, before I start my review I have noticed some others have written comments where they have compared their lawn mower to a previous better one. They have also given negative comments about features they should have known about before purchase, i.e. cable length, cutting width and the fact a grass box will make it heavier in use. There was a negative comment on this where someone said it was heavier than their previous non grass box model...well...duh! ...
...went on to slate features they knew about. If I look at a product before I buy it and it says, "5 metre cable" I'm not going to complain about how short it is am I? Then there was the comment on being inadequate in long grass. Don't let your grass get too long then or use a trimmer for the first cut. Let's look at the description. Please excuse the brash tone, this is directed at those who complain about features they knew about before buying. ...

Flymo Visimo Lawnmower

Advantages: Vision window, rear roller, quiet, metal cutting blade, folding handles and adjustable cutting height.
Disadvantages: Visions window does need cleaning now and then, plastic rear roller not perfect.

The vision window itself does require a quick wipe now and again to clean off the green grass stain otherwise it gets to the point where you cannot actually see through it. Bosch Rotak 320.... the baby Rotak!

Advantages: Affordable, easy to use + maintain
Disadvantages: Cannot handle long grass or brush.

The baby of the Rotak series, the 320 offers reliabilty, is lightweight, and most of all VERY affordable from a company that we all know. The 320 comes with many features, such as a 32cm cutting width, folding handles (for ease of storage), 3-level cutting height adjustment (from 2-6cm), a reasonable 28ltr rear grass collection box (plastic) and motor overload cut-out (in case you run it too hard through rough grass etc). ...anyone looking for an affordable solution to their grass trimming needs. The 1000w motor isn't the most powerfull as motors come but it can take care of a small-medium size garden, say half a tennis court or smaller, if your garden is bigger than this then i would recommend taking at look at her bigger brothers. I would only advise this be used on regularly trimmed grass, the blade tends to chew up long grass and block the collection hole. Now... ...
