vroom, vroom and away

Advantages: very powerful, cuts extremely well, great for larger gardens
Disadvantages: starting handle can break

It's getting to that time off the year now where the nights are getting longer, days are getting drier and the garden is looking very winter warn. Grass can look long and tattered after the battering it’s had from harsh weathers that it has had to endure ...

Mountfield SP414 - Absolutely Fantastic Mower!

Advantages: Nice colour, strong deck, reliable engine, cuts great
Disadvantages: Low powered engine, which will be a problem for thick and heavy grass

...Well what can I say, the Mountfield SP414 is a truly superb mower! The red polypropylene deck is extremely strong, and won't rust like old steel decks you used to get, and can still get on some mowers (I.E Qualcast). The most important thing about a pet ...

A cut above (Their motto, not mine) . .

Advantages: No electric leads, & you don't have to push!
Disadvantages: Noise.

. . This is a cracking mower. It cuts 46 cms, (about eighteen inches for us mortals) although I think you should overlap cuts, so call it 14 inches. It does actually cut this width, and can leave a striped effect if desired due to the rear roller.. The 5 ...
