Basics: 'le Club des Createurs de Beaute'("the Club of Creators of Beauty"). The Company offers cosmetics, skincare, bodycare, haircare, and perfumes. Available to purchase through the Internet, www.ccb-paris.com and through their mail order catalogue, from France, USA, Germany, Japan but no longer UK.
Product range: Agnes-B Cosmence Michel Klein Corinne Cobson Pascal Schaller Maniatis Tan Guidicelli
Prices: CCB usually offers their products with a good discount on them. Usually items range for £5.00 – £15.00. So they aren’t cheap. But with discounts of up to 50% their prices turn to reasonable. As a bonus, they also offer monthly freebies. Usually a gift for placing an order, then a further gift if you spend over £15. My last gifts I received was a lipstick (colour of your choice) and a makeup bag.
Posting and packaging is £2.95 per order, regardless of amount ordered. Delivery usually takes just over a week.
Now for the bad news: Although I have written the above, CCB-UK has closed its UK side, as at the end of September 2001, they no longer supply to the UK. That includes over the Internet and mail order.
My opinion: I’ve used CCB via the net; I found their service excellent. The bonus gifts were a great incentive to buy more products and return to check out their latest offers. I found the website, very easy to navigate around, the Client file gave return customers a profile on products and preferences. The site was split into easy to use sections: Makeup, Skincare, bodycare, haircare, fragrances and shower gels.
I only found out the UK site and business were closing a few days ago, I’m still in shock. Luckily I placed an order last month, so I’ve got a little time to find a new place to buy cosmetics.
Although most of my opinion is now out of date, if they do ever return to the UK, remember my recommendation.

I received a small catalogue for 'le Club des Createurs de Beaute'(CCB) inside a magazine. I have seen these catalogues before and not given them a second glance but with this one being half price and me being a bit of a bargain hunter i just couldn't resist.
The catalogue is full of designer make up, such as Agnes B, and skin products. With each order they will also send you a copy of their large brochure, which contains just about every beauty ... ...you couldn't!)
With each order CCB usually offer not just one but two or three free gifts. These gift are not useless tacky gifts - my recent free gifts have included Agnes B flip-flops, Agnes B lipstick(in a choice of colours and worth £9.90), perfume, a make up case, sunglasses and a sunglasses case. It is almost worth making an order for these gifts alone.

I have been a member of this mail order company for years - keeping my membership even when I gave up on all my other catalogue companies due to rising bills. The Club De Createurs De Beaute is fresh, sophisticated, affordable and best of all, great quality. I would never now purchase my cosmetics, bath and body products or hair care range from anyone else.
The French company is split into different sections; make-up (by designer Agnes B) hair care ... ...innovative and very 'hip' designers). Each month members are sent a glossy magazine with loads of offers to match against their annual catalogue. Prices are marked down by up to 75% and there are always special offers and incentives to get you to buy - for example, spend £15 and get a free designer bag with your order. The offers are so tempting because the products appeal - and you wouldn't be able to get it any cheaper in the shops!

Advantages: Make up with a difference. Disadvantages: Delivery a little on the slow side.
When I first received their catalogue I was a bit weary about buying make-up from a catalogue, because you can never tell what the colour is going to be or what the quality is going to be like.
But I soon became an ccb-paris fan, and buy products regularly out of their catalogue and on their website.
They have loads of good buys, including a special offer every month, where you can have a free gift of a lipstick or other make-up product, and just ... ...free gifts retail at £8.00 upwards, its a pretty good saving even if you do have to fork out £2.95 for postage.
This catalogue has a definate french flare about it, like french clothes, the make up is very different, but at the same time conventional and good quality, so if you want a range of different and exciting products give their website a visit.
Every so often they also send through leaflets with special offers in, and some prices are knocked ...

Le Club de Createurs de Beaute, is described as housing the cream of France’s beauty experts and thus has a wide range of fantastic products. It started off as an exclusive French company and launched it’s mail order catalogue in the UK in 1997 after ten successful years in France.
Among the createurs featured are hair-care expert Jean Marc Maniatis with his own range of styling products and Professor J. Cotte who endorses the Cosmence ... ...a fantastic make-up range.
Le Club is featured regularly in women’s magazines such as Marie Claire or Cosmopolitan and these usually offer free gifts or special offers when you place your first order. I actually discover Le Club last year when one of the magazines gave away a free Agnes B make-up product and had a £10 voucher which could be redeemed against my first order.
