Manufacturer's product description
Leaf is launches the world's fastest digital camera back at Photokina 2006, the industry's largest trade show, in Cologne, Germany. The new Leaf Aptus 54S camera back can deliver shooting speeds from 0.8 seconds per frame - or as many as 75 frames per minute - with unlimited burst depths. The camera back in the new S-series uses advanced, accelerated image-processing hardware, incorporating a new, lossless image-compression engine, designed to achieve record-breaking speeds. Leaf has doubled the CCD sensor readout speed in order to accelerate shooting speeds, and has doubled the buffer size, resulting in unlimited burst depths.
Advantages: Value for money, excellent quality, compact size. Disadvantages: None
...makes films look soft and it gives you the ability to concentrate on what you want. Say you want to start a wedding video by focusing on a leaf that is at the right corner of the screen and then gradually take the focus onto the background where the bride is walking. With other automatically focused cameras you would have to centre the leaf in your frame for the camera to focus on it and then move the camera around and put the bride in the centre of your frame for the focus to change. The quick start mode lets you turn off the camera and then turn it back on in 2 seconds. There is just no time for waiting when someone's is just about...

Eventually I had to speak ‘man tongue’ to him and state in bold and clear English:
“I want a digital camera for Christmas please!”
I think the penny eventually dropped at this point, and we started looking through magazines and on the net for a suitable option. My partner is a real techie type; he loves the computer, and can take it to bits and build it up again without any difficulties, however, when it comes to camera’s he is a bit naďve despite the additional software when it comes...

...pictures even in the display can zoom.
A couple of tips to the Ixus ----------------------------------------------------- than I for the first time used the Ixus digital, was I natural as every other one also inspires from the display. No photograph without display was called the motto. Continuous leafing through of the gained photos by utilization of aller feature. However unfortunately, the camera warmed itself up fast and the accumulator was quickly empty. The loading indeed lasts that only 2-3 hours, however can nerve nth
According to my original euphoria, I gave up to use display constantly that. During natural consumption stop I that display for total superfluous. Not however during person consumption. If I am in free nature it and no display it use, suffices the accumulator for more than 100 pictures. How could I test that...
