I bought this item for my 4 month old son even though the description said from 6 months +. Although he can't stand up (or sit) on his own yet independantly, he loves this table. There are many tunes, activities and fun things to do on it.
I just put my little one on my lap and plonk the table in front of him and off he goes, plonking away on all the little buttons.
It also teaches young ones to learn basic French (like numbers 1-3) and to say hello, goodbye. He recognises a couple of the songs already and the smile on his face make my purchase so worthwhile. Can't wait for him to be able to use it on his own and I know it will be around for many, many months to come.
The only downside is the batteries don't last too long.
