Advantages: 3 books, cheaper than buying individually
Disadvantages: finding a set with 3 your child will like ?

...and figure things out, seems to work wonderfully for my boy . I originally went for this pack as it had Thomas Tank and Dora Explorer two cartoons my son enjoys watching on TV and DVD, I found he was more interested in playing the books with familiar characters than playing the frog one "Leap's Big Day" that came with the Leap Pad. Overall good value for 3 books and a really good idea to include familiar children's favorites into the books available. The games are all different and each book teaches different things. Would highly recommend getting a set of three if your little one has or is going to get a My First Leap pad if you can find a pack with characters you know they like, will save a few pounds. ...The 'Little Touch Leap Pad' is ideal for those wishing to purchase a toy that is both educational for the child, but also fun to play with. So whats it all about then?.... Your leap pad comes with a free book and catridge to get you started right away, there are also a range of other book available to buy individually, each coming with their own catridge. To get sarted you simply the catridge and corresponding book into your leap pad, switch on and the fun begins. There is a green circle with 'go' written in it on every page, you simply touch this icon every time you turn the page and this activates the page you are viewing. The book has 3 settings, setting 1 being for 6 months and setting 3 being for 36 months. You touch the change settings to choose the setting that is most suitable for your childs age, and skills...
