The click start computer is a key board and mouse that attaches to your tv turning your tv into a pc for young children, it is designed for children aged 3 to 6 years and is a great way of introducing them to a pc.
The key board has the option to have the mouse pad on either side so is suitable for right or left handed children and just clips on to each side making it easy to turn around which is good as we have one left handed and one right handed child in our house.
The computer is in two pieces, the console you put the games in connects to your tv and reacts to the keyboard and mouse wirelessly so there are no wires trailing around the room.

Althought the computer comes with 4 basic teaching games built in we brought them a game each to go with it, seen as my youngest is dora mad we thought this game would be apropriate.

The game is aimed at children aged 3 to 6 years but i had great fun playing it too, there are 3 areas on this game where you play with dora and boots, the first is a stepping stones game where it tells you to find a certain letter and you have to navigate your way across the stones to the letter, this is a good way of teaching upper and lower case letters.
The second is crossing shape bridge where dora has to get to the other side of the bridge but there are some bricks missing from the bridge, the pattern of bricks on the bridge has to be completed by you choosing the correct brick to follow the shape pattern this is great for teaching problem solving.
The third is make a match where you play a game like matching pairs where you turn over cards to find two that match to open the gate the only thing with this is that you dont match two identical pictures you match a number with a card with the same amount of items on, ie, a picture of 4 lady birds with card number 4, this helps with memory and maths.

There are two levels of difficulty in the game so once they have mastered level one you can make things harder, this is a great teaching aid that teaches matching, letters, shapes, problem solving, spanish and colours, it is great fun so children dont even realise they are learning.

The computer it self cost £30 and each game cost £15.
It runs off batteries, 4 aa and 4c type so no risk of them electricuting them selves.
