Advantages: can be locked onto base or left to roll around, very durable Disadvantages: letters a bit too close together
...My children loved this ball when they were smaller not only did it say the letters of the alphabet but it also played music when put in music mode. It has 2 ways to play either on the base in which case as you spin it it sings the alphabet or says the individual letters when pushed, or plays music when spun. It can then be taken off of the base and it does exactly the same but this way you can roll it around the floor and chase it. The locking mechanism to put it to the base really needs to be done by an adult although it is rather easy to do. This toy is very durable and can take alot of abuse from children and just for the parents it has a volume switch load or quiet yippee!!! My one critism of this is that the letters are very close together and quite often 2 or 3 letters get pushed at the same time not the best when you want to teach...

Advantages: Learning fun, good value for money Disadvantages: -
...Having just read the review on 'Baby Tad', I thought I'd share my thoughts on the next stage - Little Leap.
Little Leap is for kids aged 2+ and has an interactive tummy covered in the alphabet. Not only does it teach the alphabet but also teaches colours, numbers and manners. All the letters of the alphabet and numbers are different colours with the alphabet on the tummy and the numbers on the fingers. It has a cute little voice and offers game options as follows.
* Hide and Seek - this is where the child has to find a particular coloured letter with the help of clues from Little Leap.
* Learn about manners - Little Leap asks you to remind him if he forgets to say, 'please' when asking you to find particular letters.
*Sing-a-long - Little Leapsings a number song and an alphabet song but stops at a letter or number and asks you...

Advantages: Fun and easy way to learn the alphabet. Disadvantages: .........................................................................
...Yes! Another great toy by LeapFrog, but this time one for the kitchen, or anywhere else you may want to take it for that matter. My daughter has a habbit of following me everywhere I go, and with her always comes some sort of toy to play with. Having a very small kitchen, its always quite hard to move around when shes on the floor with her toys, so I was so greatful when I fell across the Fridge Phonics by LeapFrog.
Fridge Phonics is a magnetic letter set which helps children to learn there alphabet through letter names and sounds.
Fridge Phonics cotains 1 base unit and 26 letters ( 1 of each letter of the alphabet). The unit is approx 3.5 inches high by 3 inches wide and is green and blue in colour, and has a picture of the well known LeapFrogfrog. There is a space in the middle of the unit for the letters to be placed. Also...

Its all happening down at the zoo and its still happening a year later. This game as simple and repetitive as it first appears is actually one of the most addictive puzzlers I have ever played. Any how about the game.
