Advantages: Easily portable, Lots of different books available, FUN learning toy

I bought one of these last year for my grandson's fourth birthday and was amazed at the rate his learning came on, so much so that he was put in a higher class at school as he was ahead of the other children. Leap Frog My First LeapPad Book - Pack of 3 I purchased this pack of 3 for £19.99 online when I got Boy's Leap pad, and all things considered It was a good buy, to buy the three books I got separately would have cost me more. Recommend shopping around for the best price, would say what I paid is an OK deal. Different combinations of books are available but in my box I got these three: Dora the Explorer - " To the Rescue " Thomas and Friends - " Thomas and the School Trip" Disney Winnie the Pooh - " Pooh's Honey Tree " All of the books for the My First Leap Pad are "two in one" flip books with one story side and one activity side. ...Includes over 20 games and songs. When I bought this book, I knew my nephew had the My first learning leap pad, so I decided to buy his favorite cartoon book, Thomas the tank engine. The book is about Thomas the Tank Engine who is excited to see children at the train station for a school trip. You can have hours of fun with this book and is a great bed time story book, and your child will be engaged in learning fun while reading to find out if Thomas makes it through his busy day in time to take the school kids home. How much is it? It only cost £9.99 at 'Toys R Us' and I'm sure because Leap Frog is so popular these days you will find it in most toy shops. What is the suitability: 3 years and up wards. Plenty of Thomas toys out there but this is an excellent (and well disguised as fun games) learning tool. Has proved to have long lasting entertainment value, and it's much easier to put away than a big box full of Brio... All of the books for the My First Leap Pad are "two in one" flip books with one story side and an activity side on the other. The cover is fairly thick shiny card with a big Thomas picture. The pages of the book itself are thinner but still durable. The cartridge has a matching picture of Thomas, so it makes it easy to find the right one to go with the book. The pictures on and in the book are cartoon-style but done well. All the favorite Thomas engines and friends are here including the Fat Controller... Read review
