After recently buying some new straighteners, which went up to the terrifying heat of 190°C, I thought it would be a good idea to purchase some kind of protection spray for my hair. When it comes to hair lotions and hair potions, creams, balms, wax, mousse, spray, leave in hair care, taming water etc… ive got the lot and ive tried them all. I've decided to write this review on the Lee Stafford Poker straight range. I first decided to buy this when I saw it in Boots and thought that I really should buy something to protect my hair from the daily (or now every other day, due to my new obsession-CURLING TONGS!!!) wear and tear from Straighteners. ~~~What's the packaging like?~~~ The shampoo and conditioner come in quite short, wide bottles with the tops you push down half the side to allow the product to come out the other side (not sure what they're called). *** A review of Lee Stafford Heat Protection Straightening Mist (unable to add specific product to catalogue) *** I’m not usually a fan of straightening sprays, or mists as they’re sometimes referred to. Generally speaking they seem to be more expensive than shampoos and conditioners themselves, not only that but I find they do nothing for the protection of my hair, they leave it with a sticky residue… and after drying and straightening my hair I sometimes forget to even use it!
