_What is it?_ The "Flat iron protection shine mist" by Lee Stafford is a kind of spray conditioner that you put on to protect your hair from damage caused by using straightening tongs and similar devices.
_Why?_ The heat that comes from blow dryer and straighteners ... ...there are the logos of Lee Stafford - a silver terrier dog and the Lee Stafford writing with the colourful barcode. Lee Stafford "Flat iron protection shine mist"
Today I will review this magnificent little wonder!
What is it? The "Flat iron protection shine mist" by Lee Stafford is a kind of spray conditioner that you put on to protect your hair from damage caused by using straightening tongs and similar devices.
Why? The heat that comes from blow dryer and straighteners are not good for your hair - they trouble it and can make it terribly dry and brittle, especially if you use these devices regulary. This spray is also supposed to help your hair stand up toll against sun light.
How to use it You have to spray this liquid onto your towel dry hair and then blow dry it as you usually do. If you want to start straightening your hair aftwards you will have to add spray to the different parts of your hair to cover it more thoroughly.
The products - packaging, smell etc. The spray is a clear liquid held in a pink see-through plastic bottle. The spraying part is made of clear plastic. A small cap covers the dispenser so you won't have the stuff flooding your bag when you're on the go. The bottle looks really funky and was my first reason to try the spray out. The writing on the bottle is white and there are the logos of Lee Stafford - a silver terrier dog and the Lee Stafford writing with the colourful barcode. Next to that, it says "Poker straight" upside down. The bottle contains 200ml and has a lot of promises on it - the spray is supposed to keep your hair safe from everything bad around you. It also contains green tea extract. Below the further description of usage and benefits, you get Lee Stafford's trademark saying: "I hope you enjoy this range as much as I did creating it. Have fun with it and look wicked in it! - Lee" I think the product smells really nice. It reminds me of playdough and has this smell to it that reminds you of going to the hairdresser and how they use really good products there.
Who is Lee Stafford? Lee Stafford is a celebrity hair dresser from trendy Soho! He has is own shops and has decided to invest is knowledge of hair styling into creating hair products. Innovative, fascinating and quirky hairstyles are what he is known for! I can't smell the green tea, but altogether it smells terrific!
Does it work? Absolutely, and also in many ways! I have used this spray as sun protection for my hair when I didn't straighten it yet. Wenn straight hair became fashionable, I bought a straightener, tried it out and loved it - and I had even more fun using it when using this spray with it! My hair looks a lot smoother after straightening when I use the spray. My hair stays straight longer and doesn't feel dry or frizzy. As you see it's a fabulous heat protector in all kinds of hot situations :)
Lasting I don't straighten my hair every day and so I can live on a bottle for really long. People who do it often will probably need a bottle a month - but it's only 200ml after all so you can not really complain about it.
Where to buy it? Getting Lee Stafford products is always a joy to me! You can only buy them at Boots or of course at a Lee Stafford barber shop in London! At Boots, this spray will cost you £4.98. You can get 50ml for £1.75, which is very handy since you can try it out first without spending five pounds.
Conclusion This spray works and is worth the money! Five stars!! Lee Stafford will stay my favourite brand for hair care and styling products. I have never been disappointed with a Lee Stafford product and really recommend them. On the website www.leestafford.com you can get more information on new produts but you can also get styling advice and ideas. Lee Stafford is my first choice.

...was the obvious choice, and Lee Stafford's bright pink range was eye catching enough to convince me it was worth a try.
LEE STAFFORD POKER STRAIGHT FLAT IRON PROTECTION MIST
Matching the rest of the poker straight range this stuff's presented in a funky fashionable pink clear bottle containing the magic liquidy potion (which just looks like water really). It's not a huge advantage for me but this spray is in a pump bottle rather than an aerosol ... ...As far as I know Lee Stafford's range is exclusive to Boots and you can often catch his range in a 3 for 2 offer - in which case you're lucky because the shampoo/conditioner combination in this range is good too. I think this spray is reasonably priced depending on your length of hair and how often you use your irons. I suppose mine lasts me probably about 15 uses on long hair but I use a fair amount of it and to me that's good value for money as ...

...really had a preference. The Lee Stafford range caught my eye because of the bright pink packaging and I noticed the Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist (phew long title!) It was £5.20 for 200ml from Boots which I thought seemed a bit cheaper than other brands, so I went ahead and bought it. ===Packaging===
This was what caught my eye as all the bottles in the Lee Stafford range are pink and very plasticky looking which could look cheap ... ...fairly thin clear pink bottle and it is quite thin plastic so it is kind of squashy. I also have used lee Stafford poker straight treatment in my hair before trying out the protection mist and I highly recommend it to others as my hair is softer and subtle to touch. It also made my hair straighter.
Sectioning my hair I started to spray the product on, I was quite shocked how light it was. It didn't weigh my hair down like the others I have tried and the irons just glided through easily. There was no steam coming from my hair, ...

Advantages: Cheap, Does What It Says, Doesnt Leave Hair Sticky, Smells Great, Makes Hair Attractively Shiny Disadvantages: None Yet!
...I went to see what Lee Stafford had on offer in Boots but it was not the heat protection spray that I first gave a try. I decided that I would use their shampoo and conditioner. The packaging is so gorgeously girly and the smell is beautiful (similar to Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler if you know what that smells like) and not only does it smell when your using it but it smells after you dry your hair too!
But not long after having tried the shampoo ... ...I went to re-purchase the Lee Stafford conditioner and shampoo I noticed they had a 3 for 2 offer on their products in Boots and so I decided that I would get the heat protection spray too.
The spray is idea because when it comes out of the bottle it comes out in a mist form so that your hair is not drenched with the spray but it covers the hair fairly evenly. You can use the spray on both dry and wet hair which is good if I haven't washed my hair ...

This product, Lee Stafford Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Mist stood out to me cos I always use heat protection spray if nothing else on my hair when styling it but this offered to help me straighten as well as protect and my goodness do I need every bit of help I can get!
My hair is straight and flat at the root, has a fluffy mid section and suffers terrible split ends all of which means growing my hair is difficult as my hairdressers ... ...life!!
Who is Lee Stafford?:
Well he's a celebrity hairdresser, won loads of awards , appeared on TV and ain't a bad looker! He owns salons and of course a range of hair care products!
The Packaging:
Bright Pink plastic 200ml clear bottle which is recyclable and is spray action and has a matching clear plastic push on/off lid all to the top of it. White writing explaining what it is, is all over it and very understandable and not full of jargon! ...
