Advantages: LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS Disadvantages: none at all
I have been an avid Leeds supporter since the age of 6. I went to my first ever game at the age of 6 when the mighty whites took on Chelsea and murdered them 4-0 on the 14th of October 1994. I can remember when the first goal went in. I actually missed it. There was a goalless first half and me and my uncle had gone to get a pie at half time. Unfortunately the whole of Eland Road did at the same time. We got our pies just as the whistle blew and were running back to our seats when we heard the ground rejoice. LEEDS HAD SCORED! It was a pity I missed it.
By writing this review I have broken a promise I made to myself. I said I was NOT going to write another review unless I would get paid for it, but seeing Manchester United being the most popular club made me sick. I just had to write an opinion about my beloved Leeds ...

Advantages: In the Leeds end no-one stops singing, brilliant atmosphere Disadvantages: Loss of Voice, Loss of Hearing
Bad times for LeedsUnited at the moment languishing in league one after 2 failed promotions and rapid decline from the premier league. They were in the champions league semi-final 7 years ago against Real Madrid but what happened? The club went into turmoil and hasn't recovered yet.
However what I love about Leeds is that the fans have not deserted them at all and if you go to Elland Road your in for one hell of a day/night. The atmosphere is absolutley electric especially when the ground is full people actually lose their voices from singing and their hearing the roars of songs and cheering.
My friend who is a Liverpool fan went to Elland Road with me once 34,000+ were in against Northampton and he said he has never experienced such noise and couldn't believe the mexican wave that went on for 10 minutes and the song of We are ...

Advantages: Getting to the semi finals Disadvantages: None!! - it was that good
.
On a rainy Wednesady night Elland Road (the home of LeedsUnited) invited AC Milan. Leeds left it late but in the 89th minute Lee Bowyer struck the ball 30 yards out and it slipped into the bottom corner of the net!! LeedsUnited 1-0 AC Milan
Leeds were hoping to repeat their herorics of AC Milan against Beskitas at Elland Road. The match started off brightly with a goal after 5 minutes. Then the goals just flowed with them coming from all directions from Viduka, Bakke, Matteo and Wilcox. The match ended up 6-0 to Leedsunited and proved yet another memorable night in the Champions League.
The next two matches were both draws with a 0-0 draw with Beskitas in Turkey and back at Elland Road a 1-1 draw with Barcelona. Leeds were seconds away from qualifying to the next group with a game spare but seconds from the end - after Lee Bowyers strike ...

Leeds United's freefall from championship contenders and Champions League semi-finalists in 2000 to relegation battlers in 2004 is one of the most spectacular stories in Premiership history. Theirs is a story of financial mismanagement on a grand scale brought about by a naive belief that their living dream would go on forever. Under the chairmanship of Peter Ridsdale and management of David O'Leary they thought big spent big and won nothing leading the club to the brink of administration. Against this background of financial uncertainty Leeds United have had a roller coaster four years on and off the pitch. The trials of Jonathan Woodgate Lee Bowyer and Michael Duberry following a late-night affray in Leeds city centre were a daily distraction for a club holding such lofty ambitions. Yet they continued to play well until Christmas 2001 when O'Leary went into print with his outrageous tome Leeds United on Trial following which he was sacked and replaced by Terry Venables. After a short and turbulent period as manager Venables was then replaced by Peter Reid. A poor run of results saw Reid sacked and he soon became the third manager in quick succession to be owed a substanti
