Advantages Advantages Fun for all ages..

Disadvantages Disadvantages No online multiplayer :(

Who'd have ever thought they'd make video games with lego?! I certainly didn't, but im so glad they did! Lego Batman is by far my favourite out of the lego series on the Xbox 360. I ended up playing the entire game with my boyfriend, it's so easy on the brain, and fun to play, you can spend hours running around Gotham City, defeating the Villains, or why not play as the Villains? The choice is yours! There are 30 levels in total, 15 of them you play as The Heroes, and 15 You play as the Villains, however. You can only play the Villain levels once you have completed the corresponding one in the ... more

Advantages Advantages Fun gameplay, decent sound

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some nonsensical puzzles, Poor vehicle controls.

Lego Batman is another entry into the Lego games developed by Traveller's Tales which started with the Lego Star Wars a few years ago. Unlike Lego SW or Lego Indiana Jones, this entry doesn't follow any particular movie instead being a unique story. Instead it comprises of two sets of three chapters. One for the heroes (Batman and Robin) and one for the Villians (Joker etc..). Each chapter has the same story for both sides, just told from a different perspective. The Hero side has 2 playable characters (Batman and Robin) with 2 optional characters. The Heroes can change suits to gain ... more

Advantages Advantages bat vehicles, some nice puzzles, good visuals

    Disadvantages Disadvantages nostalgia-free, poor A.I.

I loved the Lego Star Wars games so when it came to Lego Batman, something I love just as much as Star Wars, I wanted to grab it as quickly as possible. However, I do know my bit about Batman so my expectations were high when it came to the look and feel of the game. Luckily Travellers Tales have set the bar high and with the right amount of humour and clever game design, Lego Batman is a great game for anyone to play - even if they don't love Batman. When I shoved the disc into my Xbox, I first noticed that the games theme is a lot darker than the previous. Where the previous games had been ... more

Advantages Advantages Good fun to play and watch; lots of puzzles to solve; lots of new abilities to try on

Disadvantages Disadvantages Difficult to control vehicle

Lego Batman XBOX 360 I have been playing this Lego Batman XBOX 360 game and it is quite fun. Unlike the Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Star Wars, although it still remains some sorts of humour, Lego Batman requires more skills. Take an example: The section that need you to control a vehicle to kill enemies. Although you can just hold down the button, you cannot really let your eyes closed. The enemies are moving so fast that you really need some skills chasing them around. I really enjoy this massive killing so much fun. The basic ideas to play this game is not much different to the Lego Indiana ... more

Advantages Advantages fun, good music, very good stress relief, strong villain characterisation

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor hero characterisation, level design poor, no real replayability

I enjoyed playing this game, and yet I found it less enjoyable that the other Lego games. While the characterisation of the villains is great fun, particularly Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Clayface, I found that this and the great re-use of music from the older Batman films, was let down by poor level design. While some of the levels were fun and amusing, particularly the final level on both the heros and the villains side in the Joker's part of the game, far too many were just run here, climb there, destroy this. I accept that this is partly a limitation of the games intended broad appeal ... more
