Advantages: Keeps kids amused for ages. Lasts for years.

I have never seen this for sale anywhere, but it is on the Lego website, where you can order and pay for any of the sets. You can even build your own remote control car from a Lego kit. Prices start from £50, and are for ages 10 plus. Imagine the fun building your own r/c car. There are motorised kits including a crane, dump truck, 4 x 4 off-roader, rescue truck, fork lift truck…. Advantages: Sturdy, hard wearing, educational

...We bought this Lego Duplo Fire truck for our little boy, Oakley, last christmas when he was three. He is absolutley fire engine mad so this was his favourite present and he still plays with it quite a bit now. In all there are 27 pieces to include: Movable ladder Fire hydrant Two firefighters Winch with a hook Something which I presume is a water tank Axes Hoses Bricks which resemble fire The truck which breaks into three parts Most important - Flashing emergency light with a siren! As it is Duplo, the parts are largish, the length of the assembled truck is 30cm max and the height of the assembled cab of the truck is 13cm max. All very easy to hold for those little hands. ...Get ready everyone, its time for action! The Lego fire station is ready and waiting for the next emergency. This Lego set is divided into sub models for easy building and play. The truck's ladder extends to 15 inches. There is a hose that unwinds and all sorts of fire equipment, including a water sprayer that the Lego fire man can hold. The set comes with 4 Lego fire men, each dressed as frie fighters and wearing a lovely protective helmet. There is a central fire station with alarm and control rooms. The two garage doors can be raised or lowered- greta for role playing fun. It comes with a super fire engine and fire car. The fire truck has an amazing crane that lifts up and down, with a compartment that the fire fighter can stand in.
