Advantages: attractive packaging Disadvantages: price, few models usage
High price compared to other Lego products is half justified by some special parts. But these special parts are hard to assemble into other creations. You must have an impressive collection of Lego to create something with parts from this set. And not being convertible it could have been not demountable. You just can't do and undo the same model 'cos you will get bored.
But as a knick-knack is looks perfect. Some advantage not available to every Lego is that it holds well together which is something good as usually kids love to bump them and get them to all sort of tortures (lol) that test their mechanical resistance.
The mini fig and the 2 beacons and the barrier and the sign are some welcome additions, such some mini scene is complete without adding some other toys, which sometimes may not be possible.

This is a great item from Lego.
The Fire Truck comes with all the designs of a real fire engine, plus you get the turntable ladder.
The details of this fire engine are great, there are storage areas on the side of the truck to hold your smaller items. There is a hose reel for use on top of the ladder. It also comes with a little trailer with a fire rescue boat on the back. The pack comes with some tools and two firefighters.
In the box, there are different packages so you can build in bits. This makes it easier for children to follow. The booklets are simple to follow, but I always sit next to my son to help him along if he gets stuck.
Once assembled, this fire engine will provide hours of fun. Ours is still in one piece after a few weeks play. Which is good considering my youngest son bashes everything about.
