My grandson is age 9 he loves Lego he has many Lego brick sets and he lusted after a Lego Police station where he could lock up the naughty people.
So come Christmas morning when he opened one of his presents he disclosed a box containing the Lego city police station 7798.

There are 782 pieces in this Lego police station set including 4 police officers mini figurines, 2 robbers’ mini figures and a police dog and a dog kennel. There are handcuffs a wanted add and a crowbar. As well as the bricks for the building there are enough for 2 vehicles a car and, prisoner transport there is also a police bike. A base plate is provided to give the building stability and keep it together.

The completed building measures 10” (25cm) tall and 15” (38cm) wide it has stairs a satellite dish landing space on the roof for the police helicopter(not included) and most important 2 jail cells. When my grandson unwrapped this there was no stopping him he started building it immediately. It took him about 1, 1/2 hours to construct he was completely absorbed by it. His prisoners were incarcerated immediately even before construction was complete, the prisoners escaped of course luckily the police dog rounded them up.
When the family departed for home the Lego police station was fitted in to an empty box I got from the supermarket which previously contained wine. My grandson did not want to dismantle the police station.

I think this Lego police station is great it is ideal for a child who is interested in police and robbers. It is suitable for children over 6 years old up to about 12. Some of the pieces are very small so watch your under 3 with the pieces.

Lego is a great construction toy for children. It is good practice for those fine motor skills improve those building skills. Good for the imagination. Also good for getting them to follow patterns as well as making their own building constructions

Lego is very durable this brick set should last for years and years, when it’s grown out of can be sold or given to another could be stored for the next generation I have several small Lego sets a generation old. Lego bricks wash well if they get dirty.
Lego bricks as we know them were not in production till the 1960’s There were predecessors similar interlocking bricks made by the Danish Lego group from the mid 1940’s The name Lego first given to the company in 1954 Lego means play well in Danish or can be translated as I put together from Latin.
