Lego Creator - Mini Animals But Mega Fun!

Advantages: Can make three different animals, not expensive
Disadvantages: mostly brown coloured blocks

I bought this Lego set for my boyfriend for valentines day. I thought it was really cute because you can make three different mini animals with the lego - a monkey, a duck and a dinosaur (or lizard-type thing!) You can only make one of the animals at a time, there are not enough lego pieces in the set to make more than one. This Lego set is from the 'Lego Creator' range, which are meant to be creative and imaginative designs for children (though *I* personally think they suit any age!) The Lego comes in a plastic silver box with a yellow lid which is rectangular in shape. There is a picture on the front of the box with the different animals you can make. We love Lego!

Advantages: Everything!
Disadvantages: Nothing!

My four year old absolutely loves this product. We built the house together and he had hours of fun role playing different situations with it. The great thing is that you can then break it up and build other creations with it. We have built a bungalow, a shed, a garage and even a fire station. There is no end to the possibilities of things to build. Even though my son is quite young to buil it on his own, we love building it together. We now have 'Lego Time' every night when my baby daughter is in bed- it is a great chance to play together and bond. He loves our time building Lego. In fact he is up in his room building something now, while i write this! ...

Create with Lego.

Advantages: Good building toy
Disadvantages: little pieces hurt when you stand on them :-{ ouch

The Lego creator box 6161 is a great starter, or continuation box. At the Lego shop http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=6161 this toy costs £9.91. I suspect in the Amazon add they have got the wrong picture and number of the box with the price 19.99 the bigger box number 6166 costs 19.99p, The Lego comes in a sturdy deep rectangular blue box with a lid. I know from experience what an advantage it is to have a good sturdy box to keep Lego in. It keeps all the Lego together in one place. Keeps Lego away tidily. The card boxes break fairly easily. Much easier to have a big tub for your child to put all the Lego pieces in. Remember do encorage your child to pick them all up they are painful to stand on with bare feet.
