My nephew loves this toy. Its the kind of thing that if you want peace and quiet just take this out and turn the tv off and you get what you want. I bought one i think for £60 and thought of it to be a bargain. The one and only thing that annoys me is all the seperate attachments to it, you dont want to be standing on them with your bare feet. This Lego toy is not suitable for a child under 3 years old due to its small pieces. It is recommended for children aged 5 and over.
I think a 4+ year old would get some enjoyment out of this toy depending on the individual child and his/her maturity. A child may need a little help constructing this police motorbike, but mos6t should be able to build it as the shapes of the pieces are a bit more obvious than the masses of standard bricks designed to build a house.
This set includes a policeman with a motorcycle helmet, blue light bricks , bricks with police written on it , a walky talky so your policeman can talk to other officers.

Advantages: Stays with you all your life Disadvantages: Takes up quite a bit of space...
...it somewhere so you can keep it for when you might have kids, and thus the lego just keeps going on and on and on, and so its a real bonus to have and keep. It certainly shouldn't be wasted.
One problem I did find when doing my lego was that it was bloody uncomfortable. Sitting or squatting on the floor for a long time, craning your neck and bending your back isn't very pleasent if you're doing for a long period of time. If you can - do it at a table.
If you're looking to buy some lego then I can put forward some useful suggestions as to what to look for:
1. Look out for Aquazone lego - this usually has very interesting ships and underwater craft, which are fun to build.
2. UFO lego is again good because of their detailed and intersting, if not rather unusual, desighned craft.
