I would just like to write a review on the benefits and/ or the downfalls of Lego, something that even at the age of 26 I do still enjoy playing with with my brother's four children - any comments, you will get a slap!
Lego are those small little bricks that no doubt will have played a part in the life of any child, at some point during their early lives. It is something that has been around for many years, as my two older brothers (being 36 and 38) both also used to play with it themselves along with their own friends - in fact, most of mine was hand downs from them!
There are many different bricks used in Lego, from rectangular bricks through to doors; windows; wheels, and even the bases on which to build your masterpieces on too have shown at the Tate Modern!
In my opinion, Lego is an excellent way of encouraging a child ...

Advantages: It's Lego!! Disadvantages: Not Cheap!!
Continuing on my quest to review all things Christmassy, here I am with Advent review number 2. Shortie has a Playmobil one, and big brother "Small Fry" (aged 7 and a half!) has a Lego Advent calendar.
When I was little I always had an Advent calendar to count down the days to Christmas, but mine were cardboard and had little pictures of robins ...
Advantages: Wide range of colours/price Disadvantages: not quick dry
I tend to wear alot of nail varnish and own over fifty shades including lots of different brands but miners seem to do the better range of colours. The price is excellent to at £1.99. My favourite nail colour from their range would have to be the clear glitter one that i could not live without, i am forever adding that one to other colours just to give my nails that extra something. Many people have commented about my nails when i am wearing the glitter one as it does bring out a complete new look to a duller tone of nail varnish. They have colours to suit everyone from the paler pinks right up to the bright orange!
My only downside would be is that they are not quick dry, which is a pain as i am always in a hurry! They only take about 3 - 4 minutes to dry but that is a long time compared to the 60 second nail varnishs available.
