Lego has been going for quite some time. We all used the big bricks and then as you get older you move onto the smaller ones and when your old enough and clever enough you can attempt to make something like this.
The model was purchased for my ten year old son, my job was to supervise the building and to check that every piece was in the box, a bit like building a flat-pack wardrobe but for kids, and nobody wants to get half-way through construction only to find that one vital tiny piece is missing.
The model comes in a large box 57 x 39 x 9 cm(22x15x4 inches).
The parts are well packed in plastic bags, there are in excess of 700 pieces.
The instruction book is large and colourful and easy to follow, although there are 66 pages to work through.
It will take a long time to complete and you should take many breaks during construction ...
Advantages: Impressive to look at ... it has the "wow" factor ! Lots of possibilities & packed with features. Disadvantages: The price ... maybe this is something for serious collectors rather than kids ???
