Me and my boyfriend received this for Christmas from my parents. We tried to make it together doing different parts, but since you have to follow the instructions very carefully and do one step after another this was not really working, so I just had to sit next to my boyfriend and watch while he did it!
My mum got this from John Lewis for Ł49.99 but it is also available from the Lego website for the same price. I have also seen LegoTechnic available in Toys'R'Us so it is not hard to get a hold of.
LegoTechnic looks quite different from the 'normal' Lego that we all know. The parts are smaller than the normal lego bricks. It is like a more 'grown up' lego. The models that you make with it are usually articulated and quite advanced.

For anyone who hasn't come across Lego before, here is a brief background. Lego make a range of interlocking plastic building bricks. They also make windows, roof bricks, wheels, gears, pulleys and little Lego figures, otherwise known as Lego people. They make a wide range of different themed sets including Harry Potter Lego, Pirates, Castles and Star Wars Lego. My children have had Lego sets since they were very small starting with the Lego Duplo, for small people and building up to the LegoTechnic, for more grown up little people.

My 6 year old son is still Lego daft; He wants every lego set he sees. With Xmas coming up we have not been buying a new sets as Santa will be bringing many for him. Fortunately a family friend bought my son a brand new set and to make it even better it was one of his favourite cartoon characters ?Sponge Bob?. Any person reading this review will know how daft kids are on Sponge Bob, well now Lego have a unique set available for all to buy.
