After 4 years of mechanical engineering, i had had enough of the constant northern jokes and height jokes. I went to my lecturers to discuss the matter of the seemingly bullying nature of my fellow students but this led to nothing.
The course I took was badly taught as was the engineering department as a whole. It lacked coherent organisation and the teachers were more preoccupied with making jokes at my unfortunate lack of height. This was not helped my intense lack of control over simple anger issues, even in normal conversations. This lead to more bullying and more that a few fights, where i came off worse even though with my training in fighting off dogs.Although the city is special and 23rd on the complete university guide list, it didn't have a hollister. My range of purple clothes were mocked by the locals who forced me to live on the outskirts of the town.
Do not go to Leicester University if you are anything like me, it is definitely not special.
