...This is a great product to get on ebay, secondhand. The are durable, the screensize is fine for watching movies but the essential here is rechargeable batteries. You will double the cost of actual TV in battery fees within a month. Althogh it does have a 6volt DC jack the whole point is that it should be portable. Advantages: Ease of use
Disadvantages: Cost, Loss of sound quality

...I recently bought a used car that had a Clarion 6 disc changer installed. Although the sound quality was inferior to that of a standard in-dash cd player (more tinny / thin) I have found it's performance satisfactory. It is an older model, compared to ones that I have seen recently for sale, meaning that the product lasts. I have since removed it and installed it into my girlfriend's car. It was uninstalled and reinstalled in a matter of minutes! The Clarion name usually means that you will be spending some extra money, but from what I have seen, it performs well! I like it!... ...I bought myself a pair of RS6's for audio (not home theater). Upstream elements are a Cyrus 6s CD player and the Cyrus 8vs2 integrated amplifier. Let me say upfront that I have a peculiar room shape and the speakers have only done 30 hrs. First impressions are that they sound very good with lighter recordings i.e. jazz quartets / quintets; acoustic blues and folk; vocals. The output is natural, revealing revealing and detailed. However I was less than impressed for heavier recordings of rock and jazz. I find the highs a bit bright and the lows not well defined. I hear bass notes a bit too loose and lines blurry. Both main and inter connect cables are Cyrus. The speakers are bi-amped. Let's hope 200 hrs of break in works.... Read review
