...After taking new Lenovo3000 N100 Laptop from showroom, I hardly could use it for 2 hours. The hard disk ( I was surprised to see Lenovo using hard disk from another make) was giving no response.
I took it to IBM service center next working day, the service center people asked me to leave it there and to pick it next day.
Next day I went there to collect the laptop, but they told me they will have to replace the hard disk and they don't have a hard disk in their service center, they need more time, they will call me when my laptop will be fixed.
I am a IT professional, after all these I can not rely on Lenovo and make one my workstation....

Lenovo's desktop is not worse than most european and Japanese computers, the quality of this computer is very good. Since last year Lenovo bought IBM laptop, they have increased their quality again for export to Europe and North America.
Hardware
The Graphic and Sound Card works perfect in this computer. Many new games have been tested in this computer, from my experience, most of them works well.The CPU of this computer is pentium 4 2.8 GHz, which is a very new one. The momery is big enough for personal use. The only disadvantage is the Keybourd and Mouse come with the computer are not very good, the mouse is too big of use, and the keybourd makes a big noise.
Software
Lenovo has develop many software, including education software and computer guide software and games. Some of new softwares are free comes...

...My CeleronD processor runs very well . yhou it was lsloe games like nfs undergrd 1,2 ,mostwanted ,age of empires 3 ,fifa 2007 ,gta san andreas , total overdose , warhammer 40000 dawn of war drak crusade & halo combat evolved worked smoothly without getting hanged ---------XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXx XXXXXXXXXXXXX
I had even overclocked it fro 2.53 to 3.01 ghz and worked very well
i had nce overclocked it to 3.48 ghz it worked good but after some time of game play it would suddenly get turned off , later i came to know that the reason of going off is that it was overheated . so from the i am usin it at 3.01 ghz and it wrks very well . its not bad to have a processor like this at a cheap price ....
