I bought this laptop after a lot of deliberation over which model, which brand etc, that i considered over about a month. In the end, a lot of good reviews, and a great spec. fo rthe money made me go for this one. I Paid £536 on www.dabs.com, and is one of teh best value things i have ever bought.
The build quality is amazing. The laptop looks nad feels like a much more expensive model; the cahssis is strong, and firm, and it makes you really have confidence in its quality.
The 2 "Gadgets" the laptop has are both preactical and fun. The fingerprint reader is useful, as you can store all your passwords on it- for internet sites and such, which auto type in if you log in using your fingerprint. The reader hasn't failed me- it's very reliable. Also, the webcam is very useful aswell, as i don't need an extra one. I don't use it much, but having uit there is useful. The pictrue quality is similar to a £30-£40 webcam too.- Not bad for a feature that is standard, whilst many manufacturers go over the top about a webcam on laptops.
The model runs nicely, no crashes in 5 months for me, but it could benefit from an extra 512Mb of RAM, which can be added to the spare RAM Slot in the machine. At present, it is suitabel for gaming- i run FIFA 07 on it, but the game does lag at times, and i will be investing in this, for about £40.
I would strongly recommend thsi laptop- easily the ebst value laptop i found, and strongly recommended by laptop magazines.
Sorry for the low rating, but I think that your Review needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. It helps if you write every product Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. It might also be helpful if you had a look at the Ciao guides to writing Reviews and Rating I found them really useful. If I can be of any help feel free to put a note in my gb. Rich
