After taking new Lenovo 3000 N100 Laptop from showroom, I hardly could use it for 2 hours. The hard disk ( I was surprised to see Lenovo using hard disk from another make) was giving no response.
I took it to IBM service center next working day, the service center people asked me to leave it there and to pick it next day.
Next day I went there to collect the laptop, but they told me they will have to replace the hard disk and they don't have a hard disk in their service center, they need more time, they will call me when my laptop will be fixed.
I am a IT professional, after all these I can not rely on Lenovo and make one my workstation.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors, dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
It more informative to say how it performed after the hard drive was fixed. I think the comment that it's not a Lenovo hard drive is slightly irrelevant as many companies use other manufacturers parts or simply rebadge them.

Somewhat helpful because you've pointed out that the make is unreliable. However, you do need a lot more information about the laptop's features; how easy it was to use/set up, battery life, programmes it comes with, and some technical info like RAM or the amount of hardware storage etc. If you do decide to alter the review, let me know and I'll be happy to re-rate. Sam.

I see you're knew.. unfortunately this was a poor review! This isn't a review to be honest, and I'm shocked an IT professional would choose such a mediocre spec laptop :s!
Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support. Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.
