I bought this laptop about 4 months ago, and it was so worth it! It may be bigger than some laptops but feels a lot more substantial. So far Vista has not caused any problems - fingers crossed - however I have not installed many new programs so have not had to search for patches. The lenovo maintenance and security options have proved useful. Bit slow to start up, but that could be due to the fact that i havnt taken as much care with it as it should. Also, the battery life is not the best, but the use of power saver option improves this greatly in my opinion. Dual core processor has made this a lot quicker than my old laptop. Overall I have found this a very worthwhile purchase.

(+) positive aspects include the speed, apperance/design of the laptop, and the enhanced performance. (-) i have a matt black laptop and it shows dirty finger prints.
