Advantages Advantages Great price, good speed, nice design, comfortable keypad

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor battery life, poor video card, tinny sound

It has to be mentioned that the Lenovo G550 can be purchased with different amounts of memory and RAM, my model has a 500GB hard drive and 4GB RAM, i purcahsed mine from "Save on Laptops" for a very reasonable £400. positives The Lenovo G550, has a matt finish which is excellent as it looks proffesional and is less likely to scratch - which for many people is important. I have owned my now for about two months and so far it has been a pleasure to use. The first time set up was very simple as it comes with Windows 7, andd it boots up at a reasonable speed. Futhermore the LED Backlight screen ... more

I bought this laptop from Tesco Direct for £329 on the bnpl (buy now pay later) 0 percent finance for 6 months (you have to have or get a Tesco credit card for the bnpl plan which when you get you’re balance at the end of the month you can pay all or some of the balance left, up to the 6 months then its 16.9 percent on it all, that’s the way I read it) and I also had £21.50 worth of Tesco vouchers, which put the price down to £307.50. Not so bad for a reasonable laptop. I must admit I have never heard of Lenovo before this laptop and after going on there web site and reading some other reviews ... more

I was searching around the nearest mall in Manila City to search for affordable and worth keeping laptop. Until I came across to this computer store in Gilmore and saw the LenovoG550. I asked to check it and it was good. Exactly what I'm looking for. Aside from that It's also affordable! I have been using my new LenovoG550 for 4 months already. I never have one before and my great experience in my new gadget is worth sharing to those who are thinking or wishing to buy a new laptop. The specification is vast to upload more videos and photos and other programs. Based from what I have experienced ... more

    Advantages Advantages Robust and reliable.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The hard shiny case makes it look slightly cheap.

Judging by looks and first appearances the Lenovo G550 laptop looks pretty standard. No impressive artwork, light features, or super slim dimensions. It has a shiny hard plastic shell which doesn't shout out 'super cool' but shouldn't really matter if you want a laptop for simply using it as a computer, for both work and pleasure, and not an accessory. What the Lenovo G550 loses in looks it makes up for in speed, reliability, and ease of use. Had mine for nearly a year now with no issues whatsoever. It is also quite robust, with a hard casing and under side (which means you can feel confident ... more
