Advantages fastish, stylish and crystal clear screen

Disadvantages no hdmi connection and no card reader

I bought this laptop from Tesco Direct for £329 on the bnpl (buy now pay later) 0 percent finance for 6 months (you have to have or get a Tesco credit card for the bnpl plan which when you get you’re balance at the end of the month you can pay all or some of the balance left, up to the 6 months then its 16.9 percent on it all, that’s the way I read it) and I also had £21.50 worth of Tesco vouchers, which put the price down to £307.50. Not so bad for a reasonable laptop. I must admit I have never heard of Lenovo before this laptop and after going on there web site and reading some other reviews it seemed to be ok. The spec was not bad for that price though, the processor was a C900 Intel® Celeron®, which is 2.2ghz speed which is quite fast well fast enough for me. It has 2GB of ram, 160GB HDD. It has 3 usb ports a vga connector an Ethernet port. It also has a Dual Layer Rewriter. I was hoping it had a card reader and a hdmi connector but beggars cant be choosers for the money I paid. The screen is a 15.6" WXGA LED Backlight TFT 1366x768 which is crystal clear and really enhances you’re pictures.(I went on EBAY to try and find this laptop and thought I had found one for £181 but this was just for the screen itself, so look after it.) What I also liked about it was that it came with numbers at the side like a conventional keyboard with number lock and not just along the top like other laptops. The casing of the laptop is also stylish as well, which has a built in web cam that when you turn the laptop on it has a face recognition facility instead of a password if needed, its also fast and not like some web cam slow and jerky. The operating system is Win7 home premium which is also fast you do however get Macafee security trial and not Norton as advertised but this came off as soon as I got it running and put Microsoft security essentials on, which is free from the Microsoft website (I used it on my last laptop and it got rid of some Trojans I had on it where Norton missed them) and again its free. You also get office 2007 trial that also came of as I still have office 2000 and that went on happily. The only email facility that was on there was Microsoft mail but not really a problem. It also has all you’re gadgets and games as usual. All in all very pleased with my buy.
