Advantages: Fast clock speed / Good amount of lvl2 cache Disadvantages: Could balance out workload onto both cores a bit more
...This processor is a fairly mid-high spec for core2duo range it delivers some great performance for a good price.
This cpu can handle a lot of multi-tasking along with playing powerful games. Usually i can run a defragmentation and notice it hardly at all i can play games and play music with no problem it just makes desktop computing so easy.
As you may know this is an Intel Core2DuoE6750 / 2.66ghz cpu, It has 2cores on the one chip. it runs with 64-bit architecture which then opens up a whole new world of 64-bit operating systems for tommorows technolodgy...this along with the fact it has 4mb lvl2 cache makes superfast repsonse rates to programs and files i have also noticed that their are not so many "cache misses" to which i expected so this pleases me the most :D
The only downside is that i have noticed that core...

Advantages: fairly good price, dual core, 2.66 ghz, 4m L2 cache Disadvantages: fan is somewhat hard to install
...This E6750 is the processor running in my computer as I write this review. In my opinion I couldn't have chosen a better CPU for what I was looking for. I was looking to spend around 200 USD for a processor and I wanted it to be very powerful so that I could run demanding programs and all of the most recent games. This processor combined with my 8800 gts 320md graphics card put on a show when it comes to graphics displays. I have yet to be disappointed with the frame rates that I am getting and the clarity and cleanliness of the picture that is on my computer monitor. It also runs fairly cool compared to the Pentium D processors. I can run many programs at once without the computer freezing or slowing down so it doesn't struggle one bit....

Advantages: High Spec, Powerful, Comfortable to use, System management Disadvantages: Small touch pad, poor mouse buttons, poor sound from speakers
...'t try to watch a good movie unless you're using headphones or plugged into an external speaker system.
Connectivity - The Laptop I am using has a built in 56k modem, wifi enabled, bluetooth, ethernet connection and firewire. There is a button to disable the wireless connections (wifi and Bluetooth).
The CD tray is actually a double layer DVD burner, maybe a little overkill for a laptop in my opinion, but handy to have I suppose.
Now, from what I gather, this laptop has a 1.8Ghz Intel CoreDuo processor, 512Mb ram, A GE Force graphics card and an 80 Gb hard drive. I have to say I have played a couple of games including FIFA07, Deer Hunter and Settlers 2 and they've ran well, very well. I don't sopend a lit of time playing games though so can't give a good review of the graphics card. I'm currently working on some web stuff...
